Talent presentation graces opening night of JRMSC 11th Founder’s Week celebration

Despite the rainy weather, the opening night of the 11th Founder’s Week and the 5th Systemwide Meet of Jose Rizal Memorial State College (JRMSC) still came out a success last November 20, 2007 at JRMSC Dipolog Outdoor Stage.

The said event was formally opened by an opening prayer which was immediately followed by the mass singing of the Philippine National Anthem led by Louie Jean Atayan. The campus administrator of JRMSC Dipolog Campus, Dr. Emma T. Tapales, then gave her welcome address.

Subsequently, different divertissements from among the satellite campuses of JRMSC highlighted the first part of the evening’s show. Selected faculty and staff from JRMSC Tampilisan Campus took the dance floor first and grooved to the beat of "Pearly Shells" and "Totoy Bibo" which roared the audience with amazement. JRMSC Katipunan Campus’ faculty dancers then followed and showed what they got in dancing novelty songs.

High spirits and cheers gradually growled from the audience as the JRMSC Main Campus presenters opened their presentation with a mixed sing and dance number together with its Campus Administrator, Dr. Julianel A. Potoy. Few faculty singers from the said campus entertained the viewers with a series of song renditions like "Each Day with You", Never Ever Say Goodbye", "Power of Love" and "The Promise".

Intense adrenalin from the spectators and watchers increased as the JRMSC Dipolog Campus, the host campus, gave the finale presentation of the night. Some of its faculty and staff sang songs like "Through the Years"and "Decorated my Life" Groove from the dance hits like "Sway" and "Umbrella" also filled the night with astonishment.

Lastly, a mentor coming from the Tampilisan Campus displayed her talent in singing.
Afterwards, a disco party for all athletes and coaches from the five campuses opened the second part of the program which lasted until 10:00 p.m.

Mrs. Victoria B. Cañoneo hosted the said affair.
