H. E. Czech Envoy Ludva unties Rizal-Blumentritt Friendship exhibit

Jose Rizal Memorial State College (JRMSC), Main Campus - With His Excellency Jaroslav Ludva, Ambassador of the Czech Republic assisted by Hon. Dominador G. Jalosjos, Jr., Hon. Patri B. Chan and Dr. Edgar S. Balbuena, JRMSC System President, a ribbon-cutting ceremony formally opened the Exhibit on the Friendship of Dr. Jose Rizal and Dr. Ferdinand Blumentritt at the College of Education Conference Room last December 29, Friday morning.

Hon. Dominador G. Jalosjos, Jr. then parcel out his warm expressions of greetings to the invited guests, visitors and personalities coming from the different agencies of the city. The foundation part of the ceremony was inundated with the keynote address of the H. E Czech Republic Ambassador to the Philippines, Ludva who was appreciatively introduced by Vice Mayor Patri Chan. Ludva expressed his gratitude to all Dapitanons and he was much appreciative of the wonderful vicinity of the shrine city. H. E. Ludva had conversed about how intimate were the friendship of the two celebrated personalities and shared the vision of Rizal towards the youth. He even admired Rizal much as a man of great personality, so versatile, so eloquent.

Subsequently, a film showing on "The City of Lito-merice of the Czech Republic" highlighted the program. The video showed different sights of the Czech Republic - its beautiful landmarks and tourist's spots, as well as their culture and tradition.

The whole duration of the formal procedure was amused by the enlivening dance numbers of the Shrine City Dance Troupe which showed performances on the "Subanen" of Zamboanga del Norte, "Bilaan" of Davao del Sur and "Singkil" of Marawi City.

Engr. Rodiolan S. Porlas is the director and choreographer of the dance troupe.
