Ephraim Mariz E. Draper grabs Mutya sa Handuraw '07 crown


Endowed with incomparable intelligence spiced with exquisite wit, beauty and self-confidence, Ephraim Mariz E. Draper (Contestant # 4) who stood for Dakak Park and Beach Resort and Gloria de Dapitan successfully capped the Mutya sa Handuraw 2007 crown on December 27, Tuesday at the Dapitan City Multi-Purpose Cultural and Sports Center.

Draper, who was a second year Bachelor of Science in Nursing student of Jose Rizal Memorial State College (JRMSC), Main Campus, Dapitan City also hauled the Best in Philippine Terno award.

Representing the City Mayor's Office, Jenny Lynn B. Capala (# 7) snatched the First Runner-up spot and lucratively grabbed the awards Best in Production Number, Best in Subanen Costume and Best in Indigenous Attire. Her eye-catching stage presence and superior body contour plus her unsurpassed intelligence in answering the final question placed May Love D. Mongcupa (# 1) of the Department of Education to the Second Runner who was also adjudged as Miss Friendship.

Miss Lerma E. Elim (# 3) who represented the district of Barcelona was judged as Miss Photogenic.

Katrina Marie N. Bagalanon (# 2), Anna Lou D. Lactuan(# 9), Hazel C. Arboiz (# 8), Janelle T. Acoymo(# 5), Maychell L. Pajaron (# 6) participated the said quest representing the district of Sulangon, Poblacion District, Baylimango District, Potungan District and the Tunay Organization, respectively.

This year's quest for Mutya sa Handuraw 2007 conducted is one of the highlights of the 2nd Handuraw which showcased a close clash of self-esteem and battle of splendor and intelligence among nine lovely ladies representing diverse agencies and schools in the Shrine City of the Philippines.

The aforesaid search for Dapitanon's exceptional beauty and brain was fairly judged by astounding personalities and experts in wit-beauty pageantry who came from the different places of the Philippines.
