Tribu ni Pepe, who capped the Best in Fluvial Parade and Best Street Dancing hauled again the minor awards during the final showdown, namely: Best in Costume and Best in Choreography.
"Teamwork for cohesiveness and showing the very essence of Handuraw Festival were our guts to take the lead. We're very happy to hold the 1st ever Handuraw Festival final showdown trophy," Isagani Laput, the "Tribu ni Pepe" trainer and choreographer stressed in an interview.
The Municipality of Sibutad landed 1st runner-up placing Jose Rizal Memorial State College (JRMSC), Dipolog Campus to the second runner-up slot. The other contingents were Barangay Talisay, the Municipality of Katipunan and Barangay Barcelona.
They were judged by Prof. Carlo G. Bernandez (Chairman), Mr. Jay Castillo Lorenzo and Mr. Roberto "Bitoy"
After the giving of the awards, His Excellency Ambassador Jaroslav Ludva of the Czech Republic danced with the champion.
