Captured Through the Eyes of the Paparazzi

A journalist has his own journal… the "Handuraw" is but a perfect focus for a pundit. A conventional festivity by nature, and for such reason, your very own paparazzi has provided an anthology of companies, dedicated to inform his very own fellow Dapitanons of how grand this gala was, having been visited by an umpteen of expectants both in the local and international arena.

Descendants of Dr. Jose Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda, the greatest Malayan to have redeemed the Filipinos from bondage, fortified the gravity of the event. Emerito V. Reyes of the line of Saturnina, Ester Lopez Asurin and Alaric L. Asurin of General Paciano Rizal, Natividad M. Mendoza, Jose Noel M. Mendoza and Joaquin S. Mendoza from Soledad were all pure grandchildren of the Philippine hero. The camera also spotted Civil Service Commissioner Mary Ann Fernandez-Mendoza, Negros Occidental's MTCC Presiding Judge Wenie D. Espinosa, President Henry A. Sojor, Ed.D. of the Negros Oriental State University, Ben S. Malayang III- President of the Siliman University, ZN Vice Gov. Francis Olvis, Regional Tourism Asst. Director Bernard Gregorio and Provincial Tourism Office Head Atty. Ivan Ang, Dr. Teresita Cascolan-Supt. Dipolog Schools Division and Dapitan City Councilor Hon. Apple Marie Agolong.

H.E. Czech Republic Ambassador Jaroslav Ludva amplified the proceedings of the gala as he astounded the visitors in his impressive recital of the famous "Mi Ultimo Adios". The Ambassador took part in the reminiscence of Dr. Jose P. Rizal and Dr. Ferdinand Blumentritt's amity and contributed in the distribution of imperative tenets of Rizal's written letters in Dapitan in conjunction with the launching of the book entitled "The Dapitan Letters of Dr. Jose Rizal" written by former 1st Congressional District Representative Cong. Romeo "Nonong" Garcia Jalosjos. Additional registries of the lenses were prominent officers from the local metropolis like Hon. Mayor Dominador Jalosjos and Hon. Vice Mayor Patri "Jing" Chan. Ms. Amelita Almosara-Deputy Executive Director of the National Historical Institute, National Library Director Prudencia C. Cruz, Commission on Higher Education Regional Director Emmylou B. Yanga and Department of Education Regional Director Jesus L. Nieves were also seen during the midst of the launch.
