JRMSC Main wins twice in Sepak Takraw, ups record 2-0


JRMSC Main Spikers disposed Siocon and Tampilisan Campus as they tried to carcel each other’s throat in their Sepak Takraw match at the JRMSC, Dipolog Campus Ground to up its winning slot, 2-0 in the JRMSC Foundation Week and System Meet.

Dapitan campus won against Siocon Campus, 2-0 by the gravity-defying spikes of Mercado in the first regu and the dynamic trio of Dante Sacal, Glenn Quiniñeza and Eubern Andrada of the second regu. The first regu ended with the scores 21-14, 21-16 and second regu with 16-21, 21-17, and 21-16.

Game 4 was a do-or-die encounter between Dapitan and Tampilisan campuses. Both teams struggled to win the game as the players wowed the spectators.

In the first set of the first regu, Romvil Villon of TC demonstrated his spiking power to win the set. The set ended with scores 21-16.

TC went cold in the second set and committed service errors. Dapitan then grabbed the chances and delivered the allied powers of Naokawa, Postigo and Bagalanon that ended-up 21-18.
Intensity filled the court as both teams were determined to stop each other.
Villon of TC continued to demonstrate thunderous spikes but Dapitan had totally applied stingy defense. Bagala-non then played the hero’s role for the Main Campus as he used his top gun to banner the team, 16-14.

The second regu was a mismatch which made Main Campus to break the game open by the impressive performance of Sacal and Andrada. Dapitan won the game, 2-0.
