The Commission of Higher Education (CHED) and the Board of Trustees of Jose Rizal Memorial State College (JRMSC BOT) order the reintegration of Tampilisan Campus to JRMSC System.
The said order was approved by CHED during its 275th CHED Meeting held on May 8, 2007 at the Adta Conference Room, DAP Building Ban, Miguel Avenue, Pasig City.
To officially reintegrate the Tampilisan Campus to JRMSC System, a Reintegration Ceremony was held at the Tampilisan Campus, Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte last June 22, Friday at 10 a.m.. This ceremony officially gave Jose Rizal Memorial State College the authority to administer Tampilisan Campus as its new campus again.
The ceremony was opened by a welcome address of Mrs. Wilma Aranda, the President of Faculty and Employees Association of Tampilisan and was followed by a message by Hon. Luningning Misuarez – Umar, Ed. D., the Commissioner of Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and at the same time, the chairperson of JRMSC Board of Trustees (BOT). Subsequently, Hon. Cesar G. Jalosjos, the representative of the Third Congressional District of ZaNorte and Hon. Rolando E. Yebes, the re-elected Governor of the Province of ZaNorte delivered also their talks.
Dr. Edgar S. Balbuena, the President of JRMSC System and Hon. Romeo Jalosjos, JR., the elected mayor of the Municipality of Tampilisan, ZaNorte gave their messages, respectively. The said ceremony was concluded by a closing remark of Dr. Francisco P. Tabiliran, the OIC - Office of the Campus Administrator in JRMSC, Tampilisan Campus, in his concurrent capacity as the Campus Administrator of JRMSC, Katipunan Campus and finally, the community singing of the JRMSC Hymn.
Mr. Jay D. Telen, the Director for Research is the master of ceremony of the said event.
